Missed my pneumonia
I went to Urgent care and was examined for inner ear infection, persistent coughing, congestion, etc. Dr. gave me anti-biotics. Two days later (48 hrs) symptoms worse even with anti-biotics. Went to regular GP and she immediately diagnosed pneumonia. X-rays confirmed DX. Santa Fe Dr. completely missed pneumonia!! It is very scary to think that we have doctors that are mis-diagnosing and the consequences. I would have ended up in the hospital very sick had I not gotten into my GP 48 hours later.
